Wolves and rabbits

My team had just returned to Beacon from our mission a few days earlier than expected, we put our weapons in our lockers and while the rest of my team headed back to our dorm I went to the dorm of my girlfriend of just over a year now, I was a wolf faunas and she never cared about that, unlike a lot of people at this school who couldn't stand the faunas. As I reach her teams dorm I hear her shouting out the name of one of her teammates.

Coco: "AAAHHH!! Yatsu!" I didn't want to believe it, I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. So I knocked on the door of the team CFVY dorm. I could hear her through the door. "Oh for the love of... who could that possibly at this time?" I hear shuffling around and when the door opens I see Coco standing there with a bedsheet wrapped around her body, her clothes scattered on the floor behind her, and her teammate Yatsuhashi naked in Coco's bed. She looked shocked when she saw me "(y-y/n) what are you doing here? I thought you we-" 

Y/n: "We got back early..."

Coco: "Please, this isn't what it looks like, just let me expla-"

Y/n: "Save it, I don't want to hear it... We're done." I rip off the necklace she had given me for my birthday and throw it at her feet. "I hope your happy now, since I obviously wasn't enough." I walk away. Not giving her a chance too speak. As I walk down the halls, feeling numb to everything around me I see my best friend who I have known for years walking towards me, Velvet Scarlatina.

Velvet: "Hey (y/n)! Your back early, how was your mission?" Normally any other time, no matter how bad my day was, I would of answered her, but not this time, I couldn't. I just walk past her not saying anything. She grabs me by the shoulder and turns me around, looking all huffy. "Hey! Don't ignore me!" She then notices my expression. "(Y/n) what's wrong?"

Y/n: "Hey Vel... Did you know?" 

Velvet: "Did I know what?"

Y/n "That Coco was... She was..." I couldn't get the words out of my mouth, it hurt too much.

Velvet: "That she was what? (Y/n) what's wrong?" She grabbed me by both shoulders, she was tall for a girl, and was the same height as me. 

Y/n: "cheating on me..." I say softly, my voice barely a whisper. I saw her ears twitch when I said that, and judging by the shocked expression on her face she heard me clearly.

Velvet: "SHE WHAT?!" She yelled, seeming really mad. "Who was it with!?"

Y/n: "Yatsu...-" I grab her hands and take them off my shoulders. "-I need to go Vel." I turn to walk away and I feel her arms wrap around my chest. 

Velvet: "I'm so sorry (y/n). If I had known... Then maybe I could have stopped you from finding out, maybe make it easier on you. If you need anything, and I mean anything. Let me know. I'm here for you." 

Y/n: "Thank you Velvet." She let's go of me and I walk back to my dorm. When I get there my team makes some comments about me not being gone long and asked if I got into a fight with Coco. "We broke up..."

Kyle: "What?! What happened?!"

Y/n: "I caught her and Yatsu together..." 

Conner: "That bitch!" 

Sarah: "While I can't say I'm not mad at her, I don't think that kind of language is necessary."

Y/n: "Listen. I'll talk to you all about this tomorrow, but for now I just want to go to bed." I say, climbing into my bed facing away from everyone else, as I let it go, and silently cry myself to sleep.
